Modifying Existing Reinforcement

Using OpenPlant Modeler rebar tools, you can develop nearly any kind of bar configuration you may need. Stretch bars, trim bars, create non-standard cages and more using these tools.

Edit Rebar tools are located on Concrete > Rebar Modification > Rebar ribbon tab.

Tool Description
Edit Rebar Used to edit any existing individual rebar in any existing rebar cage.
Move Rebar Used to move a single bar or multiple bars contained in a rebar cage.
Copy Rebar Used to make a duplicate of an existing bar on your model.
Delete Rebar Used to delete individual bars or stirrups from a rebar cage.
Explode Rebar Used to break apart rebar cages into individual bars.
Stretch Rebar Used to stretch the selected rebar.
Trim Rebar Used to trim the selected rebar.
Extend Rebar Used to lengthen the selected rebar.
Break Rebar Used to break the selected rebar into two segments.
Break and Joggle Rebar Used to add a joggle after breaking the selected rebar.
Heal Rebar Used to heal a broken rebar. Healing rebar
Joggle Rebar Used to joggle-crank and laps to the ends of the selected rebars.
Create Rebar Lap Used to Create Rebar Lap Splices at any given point of an existing piece of rebar or rebar cage.
Edit Single Rebarset Used to Edit Single Rebarset reinforcement.
Edit Single Rebarset (key-in only) Used to Edit Panel and Wall Rebar reinforcement.
Edit Slab Rebarset (key-in only) Used to Edit Slab Rebarset reinforcement.
Polycut Rebarset Used to cut an opening in a rebarset by an outline.
Note: Rebar manipulations such as Copy, Move, Explode, etc., inherit the current object properties being assigned to the rebar.
